We now have a well-equipped room at Clapham Terrace School on a regular basis. Along with our existing four computers, (on loan or donated by the Chatback Trust) we are able to use two additional computers already at the school.

We have recently upgraded the computer loaned by the Chatback Trust to a full 'windows-compatible' machine with an '80386SX' processor, modem and larger hard disk. This has now been given (not loaned) to Leamington Elders by the Chatback Trustees.

We recently celebrated our first birthday, and appeared in the 'Leamington Courier' along with our guests from the USA, Fred and Lesley Miller.

You can see a brief report, plus picture, if you click here, and further pictures of many of our members and guests if you click here.

We aim to publish a series of articles written by our members about Warwickshire (aimed at potential visitors).

We have already given a talk about our work to the University of the Third Age and the Association of Retired Persons. Further enquiries (especially from schools) will be welcome; and we can be contacted on (+44) 1926-888333.

In association with The Chatback Trust we are planning a major new international education project for all schools world-wide. This is called "Granny's Kitchen" and will involve a panel of 'Online grannies and grandads' answering questions about changes in the last 50 years in food preferences and many other things around our daily lives.

Included on the panel will be:

... and many other members of the INTERNATIONAL ELDERS of St Johns University, New York.
